Ta guys
Indian Pursuit came to challenge then faded away, quite disappointing.

Few for tomorrow I will post as and when

Roman Spinner - 6.30 Kemp 11/2

Lowest mark for some time & wide draw wont be a problem for this hold up horse, runs here off 65 with the claimer up & considering it won here less than a year back off 75 its one to note.

Marks Choice - 5.20 Don 25/1

Plenty of winning form at both five & six furlongs & has run well at the track twice this year, sole five furlong win was on a fast surface, looks to have a decent draw & just 1lb higher than last win, looks worth an ew play.

Vixen - 5.30 Kemp 20/1

First run for Lavelle was a decent effort but its been all downhill since, last win was was the last time it ran in a class 6 & the time before that it won over C & D in a class 5, now back to last winning mark & a good jockey booking in Marquand & makes some ew appeal.

Roman Spinner - 6.30 11/2
Kingdom Of Dubai - 8.00 9/2

15:35 Don - Legends race for retired jockeys

Main bet, which is only 0.25pt, I'm waiting for a better price.

2nd bet which is half the above stake - Hammer Gun put up some smart performances over C&D early season before the ground turned against him. He's 6lb better off with Dubai Acclaim for a nk (16/06/19) on unsuitable ground. Noel Fehily is one of the more recently retired jockeys and he has a good record in similar types of races (Jump Jockeys Flat races) and an excellent record in NH Flat races; 20/1 ew 3 places.

IA ( Irish Angle )

Shatharaat - 3.05 Listowel 20/1

Only C & D winner here & ground possibly too soft last time, Shath beat the top weight here by 2.5 lengths here last year, its also 8lb better of as well & more than twice the price of the fancied Laughifuwant & must be an ew play at the price.

Just a note 365 were going 20's first three & like they do on ocassion you can do first 4 & 5 min ago this was also still 20's ( should be 18 or 16 )

15.25 Carlisle Round the island

Some below par efforts so far this year his mark has tumbled down to a very tempting mark even if the course is an unknown as he is yet to race here. He is a 2 times going winner, 5 times class winner and 6 times distance winner now off a mark 13lb below his last winning mark. He is now off a career low mark which is 4lb below the mark of the first of his 3 wins from last season. In form jockey Ben Curtis takes over for the first time

16.55 Uttoxeter Just Marvin

class 5 0-100 over just short of 2 miles, excellent 3rd at big odds at Worcester. Harry Bannister rode him last time and is on again here where a repeat of that last run would give him an excellent chance here in this weak race. He has run here before when a staying on 5th over CD off a 1lb higher mark, he built on that last time so if he can improve again he should be involved in the finish.

17.35 Carlisle Elite icon

He is a 2 time winner both off a mark of 48 the latest at Musselburgh the other here over CD on heavy ground. He is now 1lb below that winning mark with both wins coming at this trip from 4 starts.

Not sure about this horse now he has left Watson, so only smallest of each way plays at 40-1 [Bet Victor] 4 places

Main bet - Flying Dragon 9/1 0.25pt Win, Edit: gone now, still 17/2 C, Edit: gone now, 8/1 B365 and others

I have to go out today and it doesn't look like I'm going to get any better price than last night. In fact the 9/1 looks under pressure. I don't have BOG with the 9/1 firms, so have had to take 8.68 inc a Boost (and cash back if 2nd).

FD ran in an Appr Hcp at Sals last week. His performance was notable because he made up a lot of ground to finish 2nd when other hold up horses were struggling to do so. Adrian Nicholls is one of the more recently retired jockeys. He's still quite young and as he trains now I expect he rides out his small string of horses, so should be relatively fit. As a jockey, he did have just one ride for Hannon Jnr, a 2yo winner.

Edit: Hammer Gun still 20/1 or 17.5 on BF

Stat Attack

Colin Keane has had 10 rides on the sand at Laytown, he's had four wins & five places, his best two looking mounts today look to be My Good Brother 4.35 7/2 & Hee Haw 5.40 5/1

Had a go at 4.15 Listowel - Shantou Village 14/1 (5 places)

banged it on an in an ew Trixie with Marks Choice & Shazaraat.

A note also if your Bet Victor Account is in reasonable condition if you bet with them at Doncaster today you get a free bet instantly.

£100 will get you a free £25, £50 = £12.50. £25 free bet is the max! (if you are eligible there will be a msg saying you are!)

Jan, just spoke to Neil and asked the question, small, medium or large?
He replied "if you have to, make it a very small ew".

So I have !

not too shabby, but I guess no-one noticed.
