LPGA Portland Classic . Reduced to 54 holes because of the fires and poor air quality . Now 18th to 20th .
Sung Hyun Park , last week was her first competitive game for months .. Finished down the field ( 40th ) . Bookies seem to have overreacted , usually about 20/1 or less .
55/1 this week .

Open de Portugal .
Ashun Wu missed cut last week. Capable of much better . May show his true colours in this ,. 50/1.
Julien Brun has been playing very well on the PGT (professional golf tour ) . Now up a couple of divisions , maybe he can still prosper. 50/1

Pure Insurance Seniors.

The Europeans stuffed them last week with " El Mechanico" beating the very short priced Steve Stricker. Jim Furyk is even shorter this week, being as short as 7/2 in some places!

Jiminez has been playing non-stop for weeks and I cannot believe he can keep going- although I hope I am wrong. Win only- Langer 8/1 Els 10/1 . 2 e/w pokes Monty 50/1 Karlsson 33/1 Monty seems very streaky these days- let's hope I have picked the right week. Have finally given up on Retief- obviously this is the week that he wins.

Just as an observation, can you imagine if the " young" Jim Furyk turned up at the local Driving Range for a lesson today. The " technician" would rip his swing to pieces and start an expensive " rebuild" . And then we wonder where all the " characters" and flair players have gone {8

Gary- how is Hideki putting ? I've been over the cliff with Retief.....

Blimey Bolley ,your up early .
My in running bet will be Joaquin Niemann . He is 1 over . 100/1 with Bet Victor . Who are offering much better odds for most of the players.

BDC- bit of a route in the end. There is talk of him experimenting with a 47 or 48 driver {8 Obviously feels the need for more distance ! They say he put on 45lbs during lockdown- how did he manage that ?

Anyway Wolff 66/1 paid out. Each way money for Ernie ( 6 at the last hole) and Karlsson. Champions Tour looks an easier betting prospect these days.
