W/C 4th November 2019

Turkish Open. 23 year old Indian golfer Shubhankar Sharma seems to be the outsider pick for quite a few of the golf writers . 80/1 seems fair .

Charles Schwab

This is the big one for the old boys- $ 1M annuity for the overall champion. Usually it is Langer's to lose and I guess he must be favourite for the event if not the overall title. However, 13/2 makes him a win only proposition.

Can't desert Retief Goosen at 10/1- in great form and only missed out on last weeks play off by a shot. Think I prefer Monty at 16/1 over Langer . Adding Jiminez at 12/1 and lastly my outsider Ken Duke at 45/1 . Was hoping for a better season from him but he was only a " journeyman" on the main tour and perhaps that is where he belongs on this Tour- we shall see.

Retief beaten in play off x-) Jeff Maggert eagles 3rd play off hole ! Jiminez 4th . Seems a much easier betting proposition as it appears there are only about 20 realistic contenders for each event.

Goosen should have won easily, putting very fragile under pressure
