May be a bit muggy but done ok with this bet selectively so far and have decided to do every CL game for an interest tonight.

Both teams 20+ bookings points at the following prices, all with the Tote except where indicated.

Barca 6/4
Zenit 6/5
Chelsea 6/5
Dortmund 6/4
Liverpool 5/2*
Lyon 11/8
Napoli 11/10
Valencia evens

* Taken 5/2 with Hills for each team >1 card (20+ each is only 2/1)

4 guarantees a profit, 3 could be enough if the Liverpool game obliges.

Muggy indeed! 3 out of 8 both nights for a modest loss but I supposed it did it's bit for providing an interest!

Just looked at the early EL games and have a couple of player goal minutes sells in the Celtic game.

Basically hoping hosts Lazio's front 2 misfire having sold them at a total 56 (36 Immobile and 20 Caicedo).

Goal minutes is currently my most profitable market for selling in; 22% of all bets but responsible for nearly 37% of the total profit.

7th minute goal for Immobile so a 49 point profit there. Sold Morelos for 23 in the Rangers game. Champions and Europa League games don’t seem to throw up too many bets.

Hey ho, 46 point loss on that one but get out with a 3 point profit on the night despite a couple of goals being scored. Softly softly and all that!

With Macclesfield's 1st team squad on strike tomorrow because of persistent non-payment of wages, it does now appear that their youth team will be asked to take on the responsibiltiy of hosting Kingstonian in Sunday's FA Cup tie. This is reportedly the same team that lost 4-0 to the young lads from Tranmere in the Cheshire Senior Cup on Guy Fawkes Night: https://www.tranmererovers.co.uk/news/2 ... ield-town/

Kingstonian are not prolific scorers in the Isthmian Premier but in their 4 Cup games since 8th October they have scored 16 goals - including 4 away at Weston and 3 away at Dartford, the latter being mid-table in the National League South. Both these matches were in the previous rounds of the FA Cup.

SPIN have already taken the fixture down, but Spreadex still have markets available. I've sold time of 2nd Kingstonian goal at 72 and bought Kingstonian goal rush at 21.

7/2 for Henderson to be booked looks generous, I’ve had a bash at that

Well done Nick, saw your post when I was out and about and meant to take a closer look. *,

Not sure how I managed to forget, surely can't be down to the gin and tonic, tapas, red wine and more red wine that was being consumed yesterday! :)

Harrogate v Portsmouth: Evans anytime at 11/4 PP looks ok (pushed out to 3/1 since I backed it). 4 goals this season, 2 in the last 2 games and both pens. 13 goals last season.

Believe it or not but I’m not having a bad season football betting wise, but it’s generally the kiss of death putting up any thoughts on here :(

Just a couple of stats based selections

First Goalscorer Eoin Doyle- Swindon away at Salford.

I generally only bet these when the players team is odds on to win which should increase the likelihood of them being first Goalscorers.

Doyle is the divisions leading scorer with 14 goals, 7 goals clear of four other players on 7 goals.

He’s been first goal scorer in 7 of the 14 games he’s played and he’s got the first goal in each of Swindon’s last 5 league games - an hat trick in one of them

Not sure if it’s slightly naughty but he’s not listed on Bet Victors coupon, nor on Bet fred on oddschecker, although he is on their site at 4/1. I’ve checked various forums and can’t see where he’s not playing for any reason.

4/1 looks a fair price.

Both teams to score Blackpool v Wimbledon
There’s still plenty of 4/5 , 5/6 around which looks generous when you consider
4 out of 5 of Blackpool’s home games have BTTS
7 out of 8 of Wimbledon’s away games have Been BTTS
Blackpool have only kept one clean Sheet at home this year and Wimbledon haven’t had any

Another Victor Meldrew moment

Doyle scores for Swindon within 10 minutes but unfortunately they had conceded a penalty in the 4th minute *,

Bought his goal minutes at 4 and Rashica's at 5 for an interest. Both with SPIN, they're 7 and 10 to buy with SX.

Just been trying to find a reasonable priced single, and at around evens Northampton have been burdened with carrying my money

Looking at “form tables” Northampton are the leaders in division 2 on current form taking 13 of the available 15 points
Their home form is improving they beat Crewe 4-1 last Saturday, to follow up 2-0 home wins v Cambridge and Salford

Their opponents Grimsby now lay in the bottom reaches of the table are in poor form and are presently under caretaker managership.
