Three from the tracker.

Friary Gold - (Limerick, 17:40)
freebooter 11/05/2018
Remains a maiden after 20 NH runs. Twenty first of 25 in handicap hurdle (25/1) at Naas (19f, soft). Off 6 months and hood back on. Needs a couple of these to falter.

John Joiner - (Windsor, 19:00)
The Fenman 30/10/2018
Course winner. Twenty six runs since last win in 2016. Respectable sixth of 14 in handicap at Chepstow (5.1f, good, 12/1). Entitled to need the run following 12-month layoff.

Proud Archi - (Thirsk, 13:15)
Timmo 31/03/2019
C&D winner. Eleven runs since last win in 2018. 12/1, eleventh of 15 in handicap at this C&D (soft). Off 10 months. Needs a couple of these to falter.

One that’s caught my eye today
340 Ayr Eeh Bah Gum
What I noticed was the jockey booking.
Slightly strange being a northern stable with lots of runners and a jockey that gets plenty of rides, that they haven’t teamed up much before- especially on days when there’s plenty of meetings and the trainer has got lots of runners
Yet he’s only rode 3 times for him in the last 5 years - a winner and two seconds

Neither of these fixtures were supposed to be on today Hoof in the original calendar, & what with jockey's only allowed to ride at one meeting a day he's using his usual jockey's at Thirsk so its needs must not that its not a good jockey booking for sure.

Paris Protocol - 4.55 Thirsk 16/1

Not given too hard a ride on comeback run & this is its first turf class 6 hcp, I backed this back in the day in a Royal Ascot hcp & its been a steady decline since, showed it does retain some ability winning a race over the sticks last summer & could outrun its odds here.

Poor animal for sure, however its had 4 runs for Cromwell and the best of which was over this distance & it does do better on this type of ground, can see it doing better today though asking a lot for win purposes.

I take your point but I’m a stubborn old Yorkshire bugger :lol
Rachel Richardson rides a lot for Easterby she’s no rides at all today and has rode Eeh By Gum before.
Duram Fentiman rides for him and has two at Thirsk, but I’d rather be riding the two of Easterbys at Ayr - this one and the one Cam Hardie rides in the 310 than the two he’s got at Thirsk.

Anyway it’s good that we can have differing opinions without getting involved in slagging matches like other forums :thumbs

Eeh bah Gum is also entered at Donny later in the week to ..and given its name as a Yorkshireman I’m bound to be biased :lol

Sorry I apologise- I’ve re-read Freebooters comment and missed one of the nots when I read it

I read it has it’s not a good jockey booking :lol *,

Good debut run in 2nd

Unlucky not to win as was practically nearly knocked over a furlong out, and did well to stay on her feet

A belated thanks Placey - combining with the Twis info made for a decent forecast - she ran very well and it's surely only a matter of time...... :thumbs :thumbs :thumbs

I follow stables and yard patterns rather than form, invariably i have good days/bad days. Some of the stables i follow have a few out today with some runners of interest. Mark Loughane has booked O Murphy to ride BIG LACHIE 5.55Kemp which is unusual so just wander if thats a red herring and ROLLER 7.25 maybe the expected one. Ellison sends 2 out to Bev 1.15 STONE PRINCESS and 3.45 TIM ROCCO but the yard hav been struggling for a while.
N.Hawke is another shrewd placer and he has Kemp8.25 LEVEL OF INTENSITY. 7.10Chep. PEAT MOSS (poor horse) but 8.10 GUARDIA TOP is capable. 7.40Chep. GOODLUCK CHARM is Moore's only runner and Rhys Clutterbuck knows how to get a tune out of this one. As i said this could turn out a bad day and only an insight in how i bet. GL Everyone today

Another poor selection today :(
In for a penny in for a pound tomorrow.

For Pleasure - 3.45 Hay 20/1
Sir Gnet 4.15 Hay 12/1
Good Time Charlie - 7.10 Bath 9/1
Danglydontask - 8.10 Bath 25/1

Lucky 15

Shorter double

Bayston Hill 4/1 - 7.40 Bath
Monarch Maid 7/1 4.55 Leic 7/1

Monarch old to follow horse the infamous horse causing an ex tipster to blow a gasket, always been a good horse for in running purposes & profit likely there if you can get the 7/1 with 365

Really good day thanks to the Loughnanes. 5 rran today. Juniors dream took 20/1 last night and still some of that this morn wins at 11/4. The Met11/4 placed was 9/1and Richard RHB13/2 placed was 18/1 this morning, but 2 losers. Live with that.
