Just a warning to look after your pets and make sure they are insured.
I had my Jack Russell with a dog sitter over the holidays, and she picked up an eye infection.
We asked the dogsitter to take her straight to the vet, and the vet said it was conjunctivitus and prescribed eyedrops.
When we came back from holidays we continued the treatment, and went back for a second appointment.
We were then told that she had glaucoma, and it was totally unconnected with the conjunctivitus.
As much as I find that very hard to believe such a coincidence, all the advice we have taken, has said the very same.
Anyway the point I'm making is, I only pay a small amount for pet insurance, and this is the first claim I've ever made, but am I glad I had the insurance.
Eye drops £70
Pressure test £30 a go
Vet Appointment £35
Sadly we were told today that the worst eye is not getting any better, she goes in on Wednesday to have it removed.
