I’ve just had an entertaining half hour. Four Armenians were banging on a neighbours door while I was walking the dog, and shouting through the letterbox. Apparently our neighbours have ripped them off for the purchase of a mobile phone.
This all sounds right to me because we’ve all been told by the postman to refuse to take in any packages for them. I knocked on his door and asked him to come outside and talk to them, but he refused. Fooking pansy.

They left twenty minutes ago and I thought he might have the bollocks to knock on my door and explain himself, I know I would in the same situation. He hasn’t though.

If I was on a stage of any kind in the pub, I’d always say ‘I’m gonna tell a few jokes about masturbation. If you don’t like it, come up here and pull me off’!

He is one very lucky guy - I guess we should all sign up for the Magpas Air Ambulance charity lottery - probably got more chance of winning that than on my tips lately haha!

He talks like you too Mr F!

Frightening Fen, my son who was very fit has heart problems (he can only walk about 200 yards without resting but looks fit and well). The air ambulance is one of of the very few charities I donate to, they do a brilliant job.

As I say, can’t remember if it was today or yesterday. If it was today, it’s been a longer week than I thought!

It’s been nice. Rained off early nearly every day. ;-)

Our firm are building in Holbeach, Fenners. That’s not far from you is it?

Apparently it’s where they’re sending the men they want to get rid of. Hoping they’ll jump before they’re pushed! It’s a bit of a trek for work. Hopefully we won’t be sent there!

Just read through the last pages of this thread.

Hope things are ok with your grandchild Fenman - obviously a worrying and stressful time.

As to your mate - phew - you just don’t know what’s around the corner do you , glad he seems to have fully recovered

I thought you meant you’d welcomed him into your home. 8] I presume that’s not the case if you’re heating stew up for him in the bookies?
