If you're going to get the shakes every time you fancy a cup of tea, I can sense trouble brewing! :lol

Getting better everyday, as someone famous once said. :)
I've had to use a walking frame for the last couple of days mate, but I've graduated to a stick now.

Nothing was broken, it was just the sudden stop that done the damage. :).

Col on a Zimmer frame! :lol

Just walked in my local Fred’s. They said I’d have to wear a mask (fair enough). I didn’t have one so asked them if they had a spare, I was told they’re not allowed to give them out! I dread to think how much I spend/lose in there each year, yet they won’t give me a fooking mask.

I came home and said to my missus I might self-exclude out of principle. She rightly said I’d regret it if I did!

Not really Kenbo, WHO (World Health Organisation ) has stated that they are next to useless especially those bloody visor things.
Bloody ridiculous most of these rules and regulations , totally illogical {8 8] 8(:

They may be useless, Peanut, but I don’t want to flatly refuse to wear one. If a shopkeeper or anyone like that asks me to wear one then I will. The bookies have never been bothered in the past, I can’t see why they don’t provide them if someone hasn’t got one, I believe supermarkets do.

Surely it doesn't matter what camp you are in, whether you think they are useless or not.
To wear a mask can do no harm, to not wear a mask can spread the virus.

Luckily I don't go into shops, but I do wear a mask when I go for petrol etc

No names no pack drill but I know someone who has to wear one of those visors at work, forgot they had it on when in the canteen and started trying to fork baked beans into their mouth, much to everyone else’s amusement. :)

You know me Col, just because the world is going to Hell in a handcart, one shouldn't drop one's standards!

Apropos the multitude shown, I inherited about 20 various handkerchiefs from my old Dad when he departed and have added to it over the years. I reckon I have around 25 India & Egyptian Cotton and around 50 silk.

I also have presently 8 white unused because, as we all know, a Gentleman never leaves the home without a white handkerchief on his person just in case there's a need to give to a lady who is tearful (and yes, I have gone through numerous of these over the years). It's quite amazing the impact it has on the fairer of our species when one passes a clean, pressed, unused, good quality white handkerchief for them to dab their eyes....naturally followed by the "no, you keep it" when they offer it back ;-)
