Cheers Rak second one ran a shocker though beat out of the stalls & it was well backed *,

York 5.05 Framley Garth

Mentioned a couple of runs back on the Post Mortem thread, optimum conditions today can see this running really well
Was a fan of this horse last year but he's changed trainers; that would have been enough to put me off if I'd had time to look. Andy Holding also put it up.

Wild Sam last race Perth tomorrow, fell at the last at Ayr & would have won :(
Claimer back up tomorrow he rode what I thought was a shocker on it the previous time over C & D when running on all too late, this does look easier but its 4/5 *,
Under the circumstances I think at that price with the previous jockey up I would be looking to back something else, sadly its a sorry lot up against it Karingo certainly needed that first run when PU here over further, both wins were over the longer distance but last time over C & D it was third beaten 2 lengths so with one of the more senior jocks up the 18/1 seems fair & maybe a fc with Wild Sam.

20:35 New - 8f 3yo Class 4 - Ginger Fox 50/1 ew (only 0.25pt risked)

Migration (6/5 Fav) looks like he's going to have a successful season but he needed every yard of a fast run mile with an uphill finish to close from a long way back last time, so maybe he's going to need further than tonight's trip?

Ginger Fox ran badly for Ian Williams last time at Doncaster but on the evidence of his runs as a 2yo, there's no reason to believe he wants the drop back in trip to 6f of that race. Williams won a 3yo Hcp at Newm last season (in May) with Shuhood, who also came from Hannon and had poor form on his previous two runs for Williams and was also a big price at 20/1 (from 33/1).

Wild Sam runs out at the last when just hitting the front trading at 1.06, Karingo leads till very late & finishes a close second.

Hamilton selections

Never Be Enough - 7.00 Ham 15/2

Trainer in form with two recent York winners, NBE would surely have needed that first run even though was bang there at the buisness end when faltering inside the final furlong & was a lot better than finishing position suggests, showed enough to suggest it will be competitive here with that run under its belt, saver on Gabrials Centurion its two efforts over a mile on a fast surface were good enough to be thereabouts here.

Mujassam - 8.35 Ham 11/2

Three quick wins last summer on fast ground off 76,82 & 85, eight fruitless AW runs since the end of the last turf season have bought its mark down to 71, Nolan who rode the treble is on board & as ground is in its favour does look one of the most likely one's.

CLERISY 2 25 YORK, won newmarket maiden last time out, form not great but certainly open to improvement and at 10/1 worth an EW bet.

Morning lads :)

Puntersmate Follows

High Commissioner - (Newbury, 16:25)
Placewinner 18/04/2019
Fair sixth of 14 in minor event at this course (8f, good to soft) on debut in October. Should have learnt plenty from that and is one to take seriously on return. Had wind operation.

Uae Prince - (York, 15:35)
The Fenman 19/09/2016
Acquitted himself well on all 3 starts in a light 2018 campaign, notably when fifth in a strong Cambridgeshire, and this isn't as competitive, so he boasts leading claims returning from 6 months off.
