With news that the TV licence is going to rise to £150
How can they continue to justify the licence fee that everyone has to pay if they own a TV.
Don't get me wrong, I like the BBC. And the quality of their programmes are second to none.
But it's a different world now since the advent of the TV licence, when there was only a couple of channels.
If you had a TV you were probably watching BBC, so you had to pay the TV licence.
Nowadays there is lots of stuff streaming to your TV's
So just because you have a TV, doesn't mean that you are watching the BBC.
My missus watches Netflix most of the time
I think it's time for change, let the BBC charge Sky or virgin or whatever provider, for permission to broadcast to customers
