It always strikes me that, despite my general aversion to short priced selections, whenever I make an effort to back them I usually show a level stakes profit. That applies to competitions like this or when I run a shorter price RFSP campaign. I think I'll start a thread with an open invite to anyone else to post their attempts in there as when they feel like having a go.
This is that thread! I'm going to stick to the 1/2 minimum odds for my picks but you can do what you like. Essentially, start with a tenner and see what you can do with it. Roll it up until you hit a loser or bank along the way. The only rules I'd ask everyone to observe are:
- Bets must be posted at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the event.
You can only post one bet per day, other than in the event of genuine non-runners/void bets (not pushes) when you can post a replacement.
Track and update your own campaign and I'll keep a "hall of fame" for:
- longest run of consecutive winners
best accumulative odds from a run of consecutive winners
biggest profit banked from £10 starting stake
It's not a competition so there's no obligation, just start an attempt when the mood takes you.
