Crickets returns today! Actually it might be tomorrow given the weather forecast.

I don't usually put my cricket bets up here as they are too numerous to do write ups for, and a lot of them are in running so are no good to anyone. However, I've got a bit more time than usual at them moment so I'll give it a go.

Series sells:

Shai Hope runs for 6 @ 188. He’s played 31 tests and averages just 27. That price is based on his ODI record (av of 52).
I’ve also sold Sibley for 6 @ 200. He’s averaging 60 runs per test so far, after six games, but has only scored more that 50 once in his 10 innings (although to be fair it was 133*). Opening the batting against this Windies attack will be very tough.

1st test sells:

Brooks - 6 @ 52
Campbell - 6 @ 48
Crawley - 6 @ 59

Fixed odds:

I’ve dutched Chase & Dowrich for top Windies bat (1st innings only) - 100 @ 4.55
Roach to be their top bowler - 100 @ 5/2.
I've dutched Burns, Buttler & Pope to be our top bat @ 2.28

I’ve also layed the draw in the match result market - 400 to win 58.

Thanks Col. Sibley out for a duck is a nice start!

Good luck Matt. On Stokes 50 in either innings at 6/4 but I won't mention the pathetic stake involved! x-)

Thanks Harry.

I'll never be able to post the in-running bets but I'll try to give an update at the end of each day.

Today I sold England runs for 3 @ 328 after the toss and closed that at 304 after the Sibley wicket to take 72 of profit. Nothing that happened after that made me think things are going to get any easier (tomorrow looks like a good day to bowl) so I've sold again for 3 @ 332.

I also sold Joe Denly runs at 35 when he came in (he averages 5 runs less than that, and as mentioned I am a fan of the Windies attack). To be fair he's gone well so far so so we will have to see how he goes tomorrow.

Denly goes for 18. :)

I closed the second England runs sell @ 282 for a 150 profit. The top England bat and top Windies bowler bets both lost, so 200 down there (Buttler would have won the the top bat bet if the Windies could catch).

I'm ahead so far but have sold Brathwaite @ 23 which is not looking so clever now.

I could do with England's bowlers making early inroads tomorrow.

Interesting reading Matt, how's today panned out fot you?

Not good today Harry. Brathwaite went on to get 65 and Dowrich fell agonisingly 4 runs short of beating him for the top bat bet. Buttler was 8 short of winning the England top bat bet so those 12 runs caused a 677 point swing!

On the bright side I played really well at golf and won 5 & 3.

On to tomorrow and I can't believe England are priced up to get more than 300. I've sold @ 303.

Mixed day today with Crawley costing me a few quid, but sells of both Denly and Buttler at the right time make it a winning day overall.

Irrespective of betting, tomorrow looks like being a great day of cricket.

That’s £1.17 swelling the bookies coffers! ;x;

With the draw out to 16.5 I've backed it to cover my lay stake.

Just waiting for SX to update series runs markets so I can take a view on closing out those two bets at a decent profit. Overall I should be a couple of hundred points up.

On to this week...........

OK, I'm leaving the open bets to run for at least the next test.

I've also added these two runs sells for this test:

Brooks @ 48
Campbell @ 52

Back tomorrow with top bat bets once all the firms have priced up.

Sorry, should have said they were for 6 points each.

Top England bat 200 on Burns/Stokes/Pope @ 2.04.
Top Windies bat 100 on Chase/Dowrich @ 4.63
Top Windies bowler 54 on Roach @ 3.75

I live about 10 miles south of OT and it looks like a nice day to be bowling (overcast) so the opening runs quote for whoever bats this morning will be interesting. I'll be looking to sell if the price is right.

Off to squeeze an early morning game of golf in before the start........

Good luck Matt, my muggy interest bets are Stokes top England bat 9/2 and Gabriel 5+ wickets in 1st innings at 8/1.

I sold England for 3 @ 334 after the toss. They made a decent start but two wickets in two balls for Roston Chase has evened things out.

Poor day yesterday with Sibley in the runs and England going along smoothly. I need a few early wickets today.

All a bit last minute this morning with markets only coming up this morning due to weather concerns.

I've ended up dutching Burns/Stokes/Pope as top England bat @ 2.05, and Brathwaite/Chase/Dowrich for Windies.

The Sibley (out for a duck this morning) and Hope series sells are still running.

Apologies, I've been really busy but I'll tidy up the scores on the doors for the above bets tomorrow.

In the meantime I've sold these Irish players for 6 each tomorrow:

Stirling @ 37
Delaney @ 33
Balbirnie @ 35
Porterfield @ 32

Porterfield doesn't play so i've replaced him with Tector @ 27, but for a measly 1.5.

I've also sold Ireland for 4 @ 240.

I won't bore you with the details but everyone of today's bets won for 781 of profit.

:clap Great work Matt, keeping an eye on this but been busy of late (been taking me longer to record paper trades than actual bets of late but built up a decent sample to analyse).

Keep them coming.

Thanks guys. The prices on the same four players have moved slightly but not enough to put me off selling them again (for 6 each again).

Stirling @ 35
Delaney @ 31
Balbirnie @ 32
Tector @ 23

I'm also adding Tucker @ 28.

After some early losses on this thread I'm now in profit after those two ODI's.

Overall I am now +532 @ an ROI of 10.4%.
