NFL 2016/17

Post by oioiboy » Sun Oct 16, 2016 11:35 am

A few of the lads on Whatsapp have been discussing the NFL and see to be doing ok so thought I'd start a thread on here and post up a few bets and see how we go

McCoy over 78.5 rushing yards vs 49ers. This looks a real low line, they allowed 100 yards every week and McCoy on fire in run 1st offence. This is currently 5/6 with Paddies

The McCoy Over 78.5 was a brilliant spot. I missed it but was delighted to take Over 82.5. Their expectation for McCoy is wrong on all his market. I also took 15/2 for him to score the first touchdown which had been cut. However they are still 5/6 for him to score Anytime and I make that equally as good as the rushing yards bet. The price is also available with Betfair Sportsbook.

In the Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers game, Lacy under 78.5 Rushing yards with paddies at 5/6 looks a good bet. There are a few reasons for this bet, is he fully fit? If not then he is usually awful. Packers love a pass and the Cowboys clock running time wasting not conducive to running against.

Giving Eagles one more chance at -3 spread if u can get -2.5 all the better. Not a lot else I really like. Two player bets I quite like are the overs on T West rushing yds for Ravens against giants and T Hilton receiving yds for Colts in late game

01.30 tonight

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans - Total Rushing Yds - Frank Gore - Under 65.5 5/6 (Bet365, Ladbrokes)

Under 63.5 with PP fine too or even under 61.5 with Hills. This line should be in the 50s.

70 yards after 3 quarters and we never really had a chance. The Texans just couldn't stop him and Indy had a lot more of the ball than expected. A 22 yard gain in the second quarter rendered the bet dead.

In the New York Jets vs Arizona Cardinals game tonight I'm Backing David Johnson Under 82.5 Rushing Yards with Paddies at 5/6

Since the Jets defence blew out the Bills in week 2, their defence of the run has been the only consistent part of their play and have only allowed 68.4 yards per-game which is the second best in the league. But their pass defence have been terrible so far and they’re giving up 303 yards per-game through the air. Now surely the Cardinals have been told to target this weakness and even though they may want to establish a running game, they won’t force it if they are gaining big yardage from the passing game. Carson Palmer will be back at QB for the Cardinals this week and you can expect to see Johnson’s carries eaten into because of this (QB Drew Stanton in last week, Johnson had a season high 27 carries, but when Palmer was under centre for the first four games of the season, Johnson averaged 11 carries less than this). If the Jets can maintain their impressive defence against the run then Johnson may see more of the yards come in the passing game rather than on the ground and for those reason I will be playing the unders.

NFL New Orleans game, Drew Brees unders in passing yards. It's 310.5 yards with Victors at 10/11. Home away splits are huge and not gone near that yet against the 2 worse defences. This surely want last too long

Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys game,

Cole Beasley receiving yds this year has been 65, 75, 73, 66, 53 and 58. His line today with Hills is 40.5 8] Now Dez is back I think they feel that Beasley won't be used as much even though he was still used just as much when Dez played in first couple of games. Also Dak has shown that he won't force the ball to Dez if he's not open. That's why Cole Beasley is having a breakout season and that line of 40.5 is just wrong in my opinion. Most over firms have it between 49.5 - 55.5.

10/11 Hills for over 40.5 Receiving yards looks great value
