Leeds v Salford: Handley to score a try at 5/4 Betway (and a few others) and Evalds first half try at 4/1 Lads.

Rhys Williams try minutes not bad at 16 SPIN (20 with SX) and Myler 9/4 ok as well but trigger not pulled on those so far.

Just perused the early game between Hull KR and Saint Helens and, although he's by no means the most likely try scorer, I've only found one bet that appeals at the price.

Brierley to score a try at 4/1 PP (9/2 with Sportsbook)

2 in 7 this season, 16 to buy with SX but only 12 with SPIN. If the truth lies somewhere in the middle I don't think he should be much more than 3/1.

One apparently value play in each of tonight's games. Ethan Ryan at 9/4 with Fred for Hull KR and Lolohea at 18/5 (boosted from 7/2) with Lads for Salford. Also sold Wigan hotshots at 74 and Cas's at 63 both with SX.

The Hull KR final result was a bit of a turn up tonight

But my bloke not among the tries! *,

A couple of Hull players appeal tonight in their game at Warrington. Shaul and Kelly are both 2/1 with 888 and I think that's generous. Be disappointed not to land at least one of them and solid selections at the price.

Teams out for the early game now, 2 value prices for me; Costello anytime at 6/4 Fred (trimmed to odds on in a few places) and buy Senior's try mins at 12 with SPIN (20 elsewhere).

Warrington are pretty short of forwards against Hull FC with a strange-looking pack that includes Stefan Ratchford and Toby King. Maybe an opportunity for the Hull forwards to impose themselves in the last quarter.

It's noteworthy that Hull's regular stalwart hooker, Danny Houghton, has been kept out of the starting X111 by Jordan Johnstone who replaced him last week against Huddersfield and gave a man of the match performance. Whilst Johnstone's try scoring feats are nothing to write home about, he has not actually played that much. If Johnstone performs to a similar level as last week, he could be a bit of value to score a try at 17/2 (SX) - hopefully with a chance or two to dart over the line from dummy half.

A couple of noteworthy bets in each game tonight.

Hull/Wakefield: Jowitt try 10/3 365 (ok at 3/1 in a couple of places) and Kelly 1st half try at 4/1 Lads

Castleford/Warrington: Eden try 13/10 Lads (ok at unboosted 5/4) and buy Doro try minutes at 3 with SPIN.

Usual sort of value considerations for the first 3, don't know much a bout Doro but he's caught my eye and may feature and, at such a low price, I'd rather bet and lose than swerve and miss a decent win.

Jowitt enough for a profit. 2 in each game tonight.

St Helens v Hull, Fages and Ryan both 5/2 with Fred

Leeds v Huddersfield: L Senior 21/10 Lads and McIntosh 9/5 PP.

Just spotted that "tonight's" game bewteen Wakefield and Huddersfield is a 3:00 kick off! {8

To add to the disorientation there are no try minutes prices up with the spread firms so that hampers me a bit looking at the anytime tryscorer prices but there's one standout for me that simply has to be backed after obliging last week. Jowitt looks very generous at 7/2 with Lads (5/2 next best). Up to you if you add the "seasoning" of 28/1 brace (also landed last week) and 350/1 hat trick.

Here's hoping for a change of fortune with the RL tryscorer bets as they've been poor of late.

Hull KR v Leeds: Brierley at 3/1 Lads, Tate at 4/1 365, Livett at 9/2 Hills and Myler at 6/5 Fred.

2 in the Hull v Salford game that look ok at the prices (both with 888): Shaul at 15/8 and Lolohea at 3/1.

And one in the last game, Cas V Huddersfield. Blair at 3/1 with PP (even better if you can get 7/2 with the Sportsbook).

Better yesterday with Brierley, Myler and Shaul obliging. 3 in the Wigan v Wakefield game today, including a hooker and a prop.

Powell at 11/4 Betway, Westerman at 11/2 365 (or 5s elsewhere) and Johnstome at 7/4 PP and 1st half try 9/2 Lads.
